Latest Ride: We rode to the Watts Towers on January 22nd, 2012. Stories from this ride will be used to produce a new map of South LA to show visitors how biking reveals the best of our neighborhood. We started at Augustus Hawkins Natural Park, and made use of ordinary cell phones for photo documentation.

...we also have a "best of" slideshow in the works. The Watts ride featured the East Side Riders, who hosted a bike tour of the community including the Watts Labor Community Action Center. There was also a Bike Fitting and
Maintenance workshop sponsored by Bikerowave and CICLE (a project of LA
County RENEW). This ride was organized by the CicLAvia South LA Host Committee and T.R.U.S.T. South LA. Event details and discussion are on the Facebook event page.
